Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Emergency Communication Center Supervisor at Creech Air Force Base to oversee dispatch operations 24/7. You will lead a team of dispatchers, ensure accurate receipt and dissemination of critical information, and maintain certifications in EMD, EFD, and DoD telecommunicator programs.

You will coordinate with fire, medical, and security units, manage KPI reporting, and participate in ongoing training to ensure mission readiness and safety.

Qualifications

• Six (6)+ years of full-time work in emergency communications or dispatching emergency services, with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Must meet eligibility for access to classified information and obtain/maintain Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Must possess/obtain DoD Public Safety Telecommunicator I & II within six months of hire.
• Must possess/obtain DoD Hazardous Material Awareness certification within six months of hire.
• Must possess/obtain EMD and EFD certifications (IAED preferred) immediately after hire.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided 911 VESTA and mapping programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff scheduling, task prioritization, and performance evaluations to ensure coverage and mission success.
• Oversee receipt, processing, and dissemination of emergency and non-emergency information to fire, medical, and security personnel.
• Train and evaluate dispatchers; conduct daily training and track completion.
• Maintain certifications and conduct practical evaluations for training and certification.
• Prioritize calls to route emergencies for immediate response and resources.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports and maintain KPI records in compliance with policies.
• Initiate recall of off-duty personnel and notify during emergencies.
• Maintain proficiency in mapping programs used in search and rescue and hazardous materials operations.
• Monitor radio/telephone communications to ensure resources are available during emergencies.
• Address complaints and escalate as needed; enforce SOPs and NFPA 1061 standards.
• Perform other duties to support contractual obligations.
