Job summary

The City of Montgomery seeks an experienced Emergency Communications Center (ECC) Manager to oversee ECC division operations and lead the communications staff. The role includes budgeting support, planning shifts, and directing daily activities while upholding the center’s mission.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and four (4) years of experience in emergency communications.
• Experience in a 9-1-1 center or similar environment with increasing levels of authority and leadership.

• Oversee Emergency Communications Center division operations and provide management direction to staff.
• Assist in developing and managing the communications center budget and schedules.
• Promote the mission and maintain positive relations between employees and management.
