Job summary

Amentum seeks an Emergency Communication Center Supervisor at Creech Air Force Base to oversee 24/7 dispatch operations for fire, medical, and security personnel. You will supervise a team, ensure timely receipt and dissemination of information, and maintain critical certifications to support mission success.

You will organize training, conduct evaluations, and ensure compliance with NFPA 1061 and local policies while preparing regular KPI reports and coordinating with field units during

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Six+ years in emergency communications or dispatching, with 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Must obtain DoD Public Safety Telecommunicator I & II within six months.
• Must obtain DoD Hazardous Materials Awareness certification within six months.
• Must obtain EMD and EFD certifications immediately after hire.
• Proficiency in English for reports and communications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dispatch staff, schedule shifts, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee receipt, processing, and dissemination of emergency and non-emergency information.
• Train and evaluate new dispatchers; conduct daily exercises.
• Maintain certifications (EMD/EFD, DoD) and perform training evaluations.
• Prioritize emergency calls to allocate resources promptly.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports and update KPI records.
• Respond during emergencies and maintain communications with field units.
• Follow NFPA 1061 and local SOPs; perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage records in compliance with policies.
