Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent I in Missouri to plan, manage and execute assigned projects from site to completion. You will coordinate safety, subcontractors, and QA/QC while driving project schedules and cost controls.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a proactive approach to project delivery on industrial and data center initiatives. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience and 1+ year field supervision experience.
• Strong safety culture and ability to lead diverse teams.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors and QA/QC programs.
• Proven ability to develop work plans and manage project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Monitors budget and costs via project management reports.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team and authorities.
