Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer for Mission Critical Data Center projects within the Community Development Group. The role spans site due diligence, entitlement approvals, and construction documents for data-center programs across the country.

You will work within a core design team, collaborating with project partners and services across regions, contributing to design development, cost estimation, and field coordination on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; PE license preferred or obtainable within 6 months.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in civil/site design for data-center or major commercial projects.
• Proficiency in civil design software and coordination with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil site design, grading, utilities, and drainage design under supervision.
• Prepare reports, construction documents, and cost estimates.
• Lead coordination with internal teams and external consultants.
• Contribute to QA/QC and development of civil standards.
• Coordinate with AHJ and manage entitlements and permitting aspects.
