Job summary

Flanigan’s is seeking friendly, service-oriented team members in Florida to join our front-of-house team. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and help deliver a fast, enjoyable dining experience in a busy, casual setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean and inviting dining areas, helping with beverage and food service, and assisting with ToGo orders while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Complete Florida Responsible Vendor program.
• Complete Florida food safety certification.
• Flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.

• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework.
• Pack and verify all ToGo orders with guest.
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area.

• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area

Qualifications

• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Work in a fast paced environment
