Job summary

TOMRA Mining is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Mining Service based in the Denver region to commission, maintain, and troubleshoot sorting systems at customer sites across North America.

The role requires extensive travel (150–180 days/year), on-site presence, and hands-on work. You will build strong customer relationships and support after-sales service with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or trade with hands-on mechanical/electrical skills.
• Electrical qualification is advantageous.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
• Willingness to travel 150–180 days/year in North America.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities: installation, commissioning, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and upgrades of sorting equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships for high satisfaction and long-term success.
• Maintain regular on-site presence to meet service SLAs.
• Train and support customer maintenance and service personnel.
• Deliver technical phone support and field response, including weekend on-call.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams for successful integration and commissioning.
