Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a National Field Service Technician to assemble and service heavy mining equipment in field locations across the West and Southwest. The role demands extensive travel, 6 weeks on the road at a time, with long 13–14 hour days in demanding environments.

You will perform field welding, maintenance, and machining to support customer projects. Ideal candidates have mining or heavy industrial experience, welding skills (AWS D1.1 cert and FCAW test), rigging training, and MSHA

Qualifications

• Able to be on the road 6 weeks at a time working 13 - 14 hour days
• Certification in AWS D1.1 with successful completion of the FCAW welding test.
• Current MSHA training certification to ensure compliance with safety regulations in the mining industry preferred
• Completion of rigging training, enabling you to perform lifting and rigging activities competently and safely
