Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the United States to deliver technical support, installation, maintenance and training for our food sorting equipment. You will help ensure seamless operation and maximize equipment performance at customer sites across the region.

The role requires strong electronics and electrical knowledge, field-service experience, and the ability to travel up to 70% domestically. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical/electronic/automation/mechanical/mechatronics or equivalent experience.
• Strong electronics and electrical wiring knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform field service work at customer sites including installation, commissioning, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance and repair.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, electronic and optical tuning and setup.
• Analyze, evaluate and diagnose equipment; troubleshoot issues to resolution.
• Provide preventative maintenance and performance optimization.
• Communicate with customers about issues, costs and next steps.
