Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. seeks a Field Service Technician to install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair Caterpillar MineStar technology systems on mining equipment in field and shop environments. You will commission hardware, calibrate sensors, diagnose GNSS and onboard systems, and ensure machine readiness.

Domestic travel to customer sites may be required. Ideal candidates have strong diagnostic skills, CDL and safety awareness, and ability to work in variable mine conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current driver’s license required.
• DOT licensing/medical card/endorsements as vehicle size dictates may be required.
• Minimum 6 months related experience.
• Completion of TRAIN test evaluation.
• Must communicate in English (speak/read/write).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Maintain good client relations and support for objectives.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Maintain company equipment in good, clean condition.
• Work safely and comply with policies and standards.
