Job summary

Silver Creek Materials, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Mining Sales Representative to drive hunter sales, prospect new clients, present quotes and samples, and close deals.

The role reports to the Sales & Marketing Director and requires travel to visit customers and promote SCM products. You will grow and manage existing and new accounts, collaborate with Mining Operations and Finance, and build a strong local network in the mining market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business-to-business sales; construction experience is a bonus.
• Strategic and systematic thinking.
• Proven track record of increasing customer base and revenue.
• CRM experience; NetSuite CRM is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Experience in or around the construction field.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally to visit customers.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director.
• Work with Mining Operations Director, Manager and Supervisor.
• Assist with quotes and samples.
• Grow and manage existing and new accounts.
• Visit customers and focus on meetings and interactions to highlight product value.
• Build and maintain a network within customer businesses.
• Collaborate with the team to promote SCM products and services.
• Coordinate with Finance for payment or invoice issues.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform all other duties assigned.
