Kiewit is offering a Safety Internship across North America with a focus on maintaining our mission of nobody gets hurt. You will participate in developing site safety policies, monitor project safety performance, and help implement safety programs on diverse sites.

Travel and relocation may be required. The role supports learning a broad set of safety skills, regulations, and guidelines while contributing to real-world projects in the Mining District.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field of study
• Knowledge of construction safety and current OSHA requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and overseeing the Project Safety Program and site safety policies
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with regulations and company policies
• Assist with safety program audits, coaching, and on-site training
• Travel and relocation as required for projects
