Qualifying students are pursuing an Occupational Health and Safety degree, with strong communication and organizational skills. The role may involve travel to various project sites across North America.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or a related field.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current Federal and OSHA requirements.
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skill.
• Ability to work with all levels in the organization from craft to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and overseeing the Project Safety Program including policy development.
• Monitor construction project activities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assist in establishing and monitoring safe working conditions for personnel.
• Provide corrective action recommendations and assist in safety metrics tracking.
• Review project work plans for conformance with standards and assist in audits and training.
• Travel and relocate as required for projects.
