Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Elko, NV to perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of mining equipment at customer sites.

You will diagnose issues across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and ensure high safety and reliability in demanding environments. The role emphasizes problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with relocation support, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits included.

Formación

• Two years minimum in a related technical service role, mining or heavy industrial equipment preferred.
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or equivalent trade college education in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, repair, servicing, and inspection on mining equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Replace or repair defective parts at customer sites with safe workmanship.
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance before returning to operation.
• Collaborate with field service teams to prioritize tasks and meet timelines.
• Read and apply motor controls, circuits, and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical alignments of couplings, transfer cases, and gearboxes.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs for continuous improvement.
