Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a related technical service role.
• Apprenticeship or 1 year of technical college in mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of motor control systems and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience aligning couplings, transfer cases and gearboxes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication.
• Commitment to safety protocols and safe work practices.
• Willingness to travel to varied surface mining sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough maintenance, repair, servicing, and inspection on mining equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; identify root causes.
• Repair or replace defective parts at customer sites with quality workmanship.
• Conduct rigorous testing of repaired equipment before returning to operation.
• Collaborate with field service teams to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Troubleshoot motor controls, circuits, and schematic diagrams efficiently.
• Demonstrate proficiency in alignments of motors, couplings, transfers, gearboxes.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs for continuous improvement.
