Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead all bids from the office focused on mining projects. You will drive estimating strategy, build detailed cost models, and oversee a team of estimators and schedulers.

The role requires 10+ years in estimating with supervisory experience, reading complex drawings, and proficiency with InEight, Blue-Beam, Navisworks, and MS Project. Travel up to 50% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years estimating experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Field experience on industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimate industrial projects, including quantity take-offs and pricing from vendors.
• Lead estimating team, review drawings, and prepare proposals for bids.
• Manage risk, coordinate with operations, and maintain cost databases.
• Oversee use of InEight and related estimating tools; ensure compliance with standards.
