Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking an Estimator I/III to support bid pursuits and, at times, lead efforts in our Estimating team across multiple industries.

This role focuses on complete conceptual estimates for large EPC projects from bid package through to final bid review, including site visits and data input into estimating systems. Responsibilities include organizing estimates, coaching other estimators, and ensuring adherence to company policies, safety practices, and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent of the education and experience.
• 2-7 years of construction estimating experience
• Knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
• Knowledge of EPC, DB and JV contracts
• Experience in contract negotiations
• Experience in leading bids regularly

Responsibilities

• Lead complete conceptual estimates for large EPC projects from bid package to final bid review.
• Organize and detail the estimate for field turnover.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other estimators in assigned industry.
• Perform site visits, scope determination, input into estimating systems, and RFQ inquiries.
• Ensure safety, professionalism, and compliance in all estimates.
