Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to oversee project controls, scheduling, procurement, and reporting for mining EPC projects. You will coordinate with clients, engineering, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, 7+ years of field engineering experience, and mining industry exposure. Travel and long on-site assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience as a Field Engineer or similar role.
• Mining industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company professionally in all client interactions.
• Provide contract and schedule reports (weekly, monthly).
• Develop site safety plans and lead toolbox/safety meetings.
• Create and review work plans, schedules, and procurement status reports.
• Manage field engineers, procurement, and subcontract administration.
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and correspondences.
