Job summary

MasTec seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to oversee project controls and management for multifaceted EPC mining projects. You will coordinate with clients, engineering teams, subcontractors, and vendors, driving schedules, procurement, and reporting to ensure timely delivery.

You will lead safety initiatives, develop work plans, monitor costs, and mentor field engineers. Extensive travel and on-site leadership are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role.
• Mining industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent professionally in client interactions.
• Provide contract reports (weekly, monthly, schedule).
• Lead safety meetings and ensure site safety plans are followed.
• Create and review work plans and packages.
• Manage daily labor timesheets and subcontractor coordination.
• Prepare data for submittals and client communications.
• Maintain project records, reports, RFIs, and transmittals.
• Drive master schedule and project controls including cost and procurement.
