Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Estimator I/III to support bid pursuits and potentially lead efforts. The role reports to the Estimating Manager within the Service Line and involves conceptual estimates for large EPC, design-build, and joint venture projects across our renewables, industrial, infrastructure, and general building groups.

The Estimator will mentor other estimators and manage bid timelines, ensuring accurate estimates while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent of the education and experience.
• 2-7 years of construction estimating experience.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management.
• Knowledge of EPC, DB and JV contracts.
• Experience in contract negotiations.
• Experience leading bids regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete conceptual estimates for large EPC, design-build, general construction, and joint venture projects.
• Coordinate bid teams for large, complex projects and mentor other estimators.
• Organize estimates for field turnover and ensure accuracy per policy.
