Job summary

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee mining-focused EPC projects up to $100 million. You will lead the site management team, drive safety programs, manage project controls, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with MSHA standards.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in engineering/construction management and at least 10 years of field experience in mining or similar heavy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and construction management.
• Ten years of field experience.
• Experience in MSHA-regulated mining and aggregate operations.
• Maintained compliance with MSHA safety standards and participated in accident prevention programs.
• Conducted workplace examinations, safety meetings, and contractor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage entire site management team (Construction Manager, Project Engineer, Quality Manager, Safety Manager, etc.).
• Represent PHX in a professional manner in all client interaction activities.
• Communicate with client, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors on all project related issues.
• Champion PHX’s Corporate Safety Plan and develop a site-specific safety plan.
• Review completions status and schedule progress; identify productivity problems and propose solutions.
• Review all work plans and work packages.
• Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations.
• Develop and maintain master project schedule and related controls.
• Approve and negotiate all change orders to the Prime Contract.
