Job summary

Caterpillar in Northern Nevada is seeking a MineStar Application Specialist to support and optimize autonomous haul truck systems at the mine site.

You will implement MineStar Command, build relationships with customers, and collaborate with engineering to drive product improvements.

Training is provided; 7x7 day/night shifts; relocation is available; domestic relocation support; sponsorship is not available; posting date window applies.

Qualifications

• Experience with mining technology and mining best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and field support experience.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Cat MineStar on board, implementation, product support, or engineering.
• Degree or technical training in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Mining Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Implement MineStar Command and optimize system performance.
• Build trusted relationships with customers through collaboration.
• Support and advise MineStar Command Office Supervisors, Builders, Controllers, and Pit Technicians on all aspects of system performance, focusing on minimizing downtime.
• Assist with hardware and software installation and configuration.
• Measure, benchmark, and report on system performance, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Create training materials and process documentation to support ongoing learning and operational excellence.
• Execute continuous improvement projects to optimize production and efficiency.
