Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a General Foreman - Mine Operations Execution at East Boulder Mine, McLeod, MT. You will lead frontline Supervisors and Dispatch to deliver approved daily and weekly commitments across underground production, development, backfill, and haulage, ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Role requires seven years in underground mining with strong leadership, safety focus, and the ability to manage complex operations and changes on shift. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven years of underground production and development experience.
• Leadership of frontline Supervisors and Dispatch.
• Knowledge of MSHA requirements and safety-management practices.
• Experience coordinating underground operations including drill-and-blast, ventilation, and haulage.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline Supervisors and Dispatch to safely deliver daily and weekly commitments across production, development, backfill, underground construction, rail haulage, and related material movement.
• Verify Supervisor effectiveness through pre-shift preparation, workplace examinations, and coaching follow-ups.
• Control field risk by intervening, stopping work when needed, and escalating major deficiencies.
• Ensure investigations, audits, inspections, and retraining are completed on time with accountable owners and due dates.
• Direct daily and shift execution through handovers, pre-shift reviews, and performance reviews; document actions and follow-ups.
• Other duties as assigned.
