Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater seeks a Supervisor - Stationary Maintenance to lead maintenance crews at East Boulder Mine, McLeod, MT. Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience managing hourly crews.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple work streams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks within weekly plans.
• Good judgement under pressure.
• Problem solving and diagnostics ability.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and lockout/tagout practices.

Responsibilities

• Foster safe work practices and enforce SOPs, stopping unsafe work when needed.
• Identify and control hazards via inspections and audits; coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure crew training and allocate time for task and campaign training.
• Communicate shift plan and assign tasks and resources.
• Provide accurate equipment condition to Planner; participate in walkdowns.
• Review work packets to confirm scope, hazards, controls, permits, and skills.
• Manage crew and shift sequencing; coordinate deferrals with Planner.
• Maintain shift productivity, quality, safety, and cost reporting.
• Document completed work with labor, materials, and variance reasons.
• Submit follow-up work requests for defects or new scope.
• Manage staffing levels and overtime with foreman.
• Control consumables and prevent misuse.
• Provide explanations for completed and deferred work for schedule reporting.
