West Networks LLC, a Gainesville, Florida-based managed network services provider, seeks a Tier 1 Field Operations Technician in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time, W2 role starts with a hands-on installation project and then provides ongoing regional field support.

The technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure onsite, crimp cables, patch networks, and perform equipment checks, collaborating with Tier 2/3 teams in Florida and Texas.

Qualifications

Ability to perform hands-on installations and maintenance at customer sites.
Ability to crimp cables, patch networks, and run Ethernet wiring neatly.
Physically capable to perform field work and carry equipment.
Willingness to learn and work with Tier 2/3 teams.

Responsibilities

Support full-time onsite installation of network infrastructure during the initial project.
Provide ongoing onsite maintenance and troubleshooting after go-live.
Prepare and submit onsite status and maintenance reports after each visit.
Support additional projects in the Milwaukee region as assigned.
Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams based in Florida and Texas.
