Tier 1 Regional Field Operations Technician - West (NV, CA, AZ)

This is a remote position. West Networks, a leading managed network infrastructure services provider based in Gainesville, Florida, is expanding its Nationwide Field Services Division to support next-business-day on-site installation and support across the United States for enterprise, healthcare, and retail clients, and the rapid adoption of our Retail SpeedFusion Kits.

We are actively seeking Field Operations Technicians to join our expanding team. This is a Tier 1 position focused on remote hands, field installation, and basic technical support.

Job Description

• Position Title: Field Operations Technician (Tier 1)
• Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000 per year
• Work Location: Work from home or from a regional office
• Reporting To: Field Operations Manager
• Coverage Zones: North Central, South Central, Northeast, Southeast, West

We are hiring a limited number of technicians per region, based on demand. Some regions will have more openings than others.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 phone support and remote triage from home
• Deliver same-day or next-business-day on-site support across your assigned region during mass rollout periods
• Be physically fit and capable of driving long distances and performing hands-on installations
• Enjoy driving, working with customers, and solving problems in the field
• Maintain a positive, professional, and presentable demeanor always
• Able to crimp cables, patch into networks, run clean and tidy Ethernet wiring, and leave every job site better than you found it
• Willing to learn and grow with our team and technology stack
• Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams based in Florida to support healthcare, retail, and enterprise clients
