Job summary

Lowe's Sales Specialist role focuses on helping customers find the right home improvement products and turning ideas into reality. You’ll be a product expert across departments, educating customers on features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll engage with customers on the showroom floor, provide project estimates, and support orders and installations while delivering excellent service and solutions to meet customer goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales.
• 1 year experience in sales or customer service with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance.
• Sales licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's supports this).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors with estimates, scheduling, orders, and installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors/stores to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
