Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to engage customers on the store floor or garden center, discuss project needs, explain product specifications, promotions and financing options, and help close sales. You will become a product expert and deliver consultative service to meet customer goals.

You'll work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, with opportunities to grow through training and on-the-job coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year of sales or customer service experience preferred; ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Act as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process and track orders, and follow up on completion.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to maintain stock and pricing.
