Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to help customers find the right home improvement products and turn ideas into reality. You will be the first point of contact, delivering expert guidance and financing options to close sales.

You'll work in one of several departments, from Appliances to Windows & Walls, assisting customers, processing orders, and supporting installers. A strong service mindset and product knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months of Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years of external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education is not met).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods and lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating advantages of Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders and follow up on project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
