Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to be among the first associates customers meet, helping them find products and translate ideas into finished projects. You will become a product expert, communicating specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, in a fast-paced store environment.

You'll work in departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, and engage in customer service, inventory coordination, pricing, and training coworkers to deliver excellent service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's experience.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate stock with vendors.
• Perform price reviews and ensure pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
