Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to guide customers through improving their homes. You will become a product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing options to close sales, and help customers achieve their home improvement goals.

You will move around the store, assist customers, answer questions, and help with installations or services. This role emphasizes customer-first service and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by identifying customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a department point of contact, estimate projects, schedule installers, process orders and follow up on completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock items.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
