Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist in Massachusetts. You’ll greet customers, learn project needs, explain product specs and financing options, and help close sales.

You’ll rotate through departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, delivering exceptional service and expert product knowledge to improve home projects. The job emphasizes active customer interaction, problem solving, and collaboration with store teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external in sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation
• Sales-related licensure/registration if required by state (Lowe’s will support)

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs and communicating product advantages
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates and schedule installer visits
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation
• Support checkout functions and department requests
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs
• Complete other duties as assigned
