Job summary

Lowe's in Woodstock, GA is seeking a Sales Specialist to assist customers with project needs, explain product specifications, and guide them toward fitting solutions across departments. You’ll act as a product expert, close sales, and provide exceptional consulting services to meet customer requirements.

You will operate in a fast-paced retail environment, moving throughout the store, answering questions, and helping customers achieve home improvement goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with/without accommodation.
• Lowe's may fund sales-related licensure if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand their needs and communicate product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, including estimates and scheduling installer visits.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for merchandise and stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and customer requests.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coaching on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
