Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Clinton, Utah is seeking a part-time Sales Specialist to help customers find products, discuss project needs, and close sales on the floor.

You will become the product expert, sharing specifications, features, and financing options to meet customer goals and drive store performance. You will work in a department such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, or Windows & Walls, contributing to a high-energy, service-oriented environment with opportunities for tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or equivalent external sales experience).
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lowe's will support sales licensure if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Act as the point of contact for customers and vendors in the department with order processing and follow-ups.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Assist with pricing reviews and maintenance of pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the floor.
• Train associates in the department and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
