Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education is not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law (Lowe's will support and fund this).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, including project estimates and scheduling.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and department requests.
• Train associates in the department on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
