Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist in Vermont to greet customers, understand their needs and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become the product expert, explaining specifications, features, and promotions to close sales.

You may work in various departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, Windows & Walls). The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year sales or customer service experience with sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, manage estimates, scheduling, orders and installations.
• For Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing/docs.
• Support checkout, store pages, and service requests.
• Train associates on sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
