Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to assist customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

Role involves active customer interaction across various departments and may include Pro account responsibilities. Competitive pay and opportunities for growth and certification support are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe’s retail experience preferred.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted (or more with accommodation).
• Obtain sales-related licensure/registration if required by state (Lowe’s will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors, providing estimates, scheduling installers, processing orders, and ensuring project completion.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist as needed on the sales floor.
• Train associates in the department and provide on-the-job coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
