The Mennel Milling Company is seeking a skilled Mill Operator to operate and maintain the flour mill under the Head Miller. You will support food safety and quality programs and help deliver reliable quality and service.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced milling environment. Primary duties include operating milling units, managing inventories, maintaining reports, and covering for senior operators when needed.

Formación

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in flour milling or food manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Initiative to identify equipment problems.
• Understanding of materials flow and process steps.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer software.

Responsabilidades

• Follow GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSQI guidelines and sanitization requirements.
• Manage flour mill and cleaning house operations during shift.
• Operate milling units for optimum performance and yields.
• Maintain wheat and flour inventories to spec.
• Repair equipment as needed.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain production reports and SOP compliance.
• Attend training sessions as required.
• May cover Head Miller or Mill Operator in absences.
• Other duties as assigned.
