The Mennel Milling Company is seeking a Mill Operator to operate and maintain the flour mill in Mt Olive, IL, reporting to the Head Miller. The role emphasizes sustaining the company’s tradition of excellence and supporting food safety programs.

Responsibilities include operating milling units, managing inventory, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Some overtime and shift work are expected to ensure continuous production.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass a Respirator Fit Test and perform duties while wearing a respirator.

Responsabilidades

• Follow food safety rules and regulations (GMP, OSHA, HACCP, FDA) and keep department in audit-ready condition.
• Operate and maintain the flour mill and cleaning house during assigned shift.
• Run milling units at optimum performance and yields.
• Maintain wheat and flour inventories to required specifications.
• Repair equipment as needed and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Produce and maintain production reports and comply with SOPs.
• May cover for Head Miller or Mill Operator in their absence.
