Mennel Milling Company is seeking an Assistant Miller to support flour mill operations, ensure product quality, and uphold food safety standards. You will help deliver products that meet customer expectations and assist with training and back-up coverage for senior milling staff.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in flour milling or related fields and strong troubleshooting, organizational, and teamwork skills, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years flour milling, food production, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test and work with respirator.

Responsabilités

• Assist daily flour mill operations, flour transfers, and mill changes.
• Perform quality analysis, product sampling, and food safety checks.
• Support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine repairs.
• Monitor wheat cleaning and tempering processes and adjust as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready work environment.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and sanitation requirements.
• Assist training of Mill Utility personnel.
• Serve as backup for Head Miller or Shift Miller when needed.
