Job summary

The Mennel Milling Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain equipment reliability across the flour milling facility. You will support food safety programs and ensure equipment operates at peak performance for quality and throughput.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, adherence to GMP/OSHA/HACCP standards, and documentation of repairs. 1st shift with weekends and holidays may be required, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and a 2-year technical degree in electronics, Mechatronics, mechanics, welding, automation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and food safety rules and procedures (GMP, OSHA, HACCP, FS&Q) and attend required training sessions.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment to sustain reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues; improve long-term reliability.
• Inspect parts and use measuring tools to verify dimensions; install and commission new equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Lubricate equipment, test performance after maintenance, and keep detailed documentation of repairs.
