Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Rome lumber mill in Rome, Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team, improve equipment reliability, and advance safety and operational performance. You will set clear expectations, develop people, and partner across Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and Safety to deliver lasting results.

This hands-on leadership role requires five or more years of industrial maintenance and experience with CMMS, drawings, and preventive maintenance

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing or similar environment
Experience with CMMS and documenting maintenance work
Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings
Proven ability to lead, coach, and coordinate maintenance activities
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be hot, cold, dusty, or outdoors

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team with a focus on safety and compliance
Set priorities, provide feedback and performance coaching
Build team capability through training and knowledge sharing
Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve reliability
Troubleshoot equipment issues with Operations and plan outages and improvements
