Dept of Veterans Services, in Richmond, VA, seeks a Military Medics & Corpsmen Transition Resource Coordinator to help service members translate medical experience into civilian healthcare careers.

In this role, you’ll work with military medics, corpsmen, and other professionals, connecting experience to education, credentialing, licensure, and employment pathways while building strong relationships with employers, schools, and community partners throughout Virginia.

Formación

• Knowledge of healthcare systems, workforce development, and credentialing/licensure.
• Familiarity with military healthcare occupations and their civilian equivalents.
• Understanding of career pathways, education, training, and professional advancement opportunities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn program management systems.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Virginia to support clients and events.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with military medics to connect their experience to civilian healthcare careers.
• Build relationships with healthcare employers, educational institutions, military installations, workforce partners, and community organizations; represent MMAC at events and meetings.
• Help strengthen pathways that recognize military medical skills for Virginia's healthcare workforce.
• Provide individualized resource coordination and assist clients with employment, education, licensing, credentialing, and career pathways.
