Turn Military Medical Experience into a New Mission!
Are you passionate about helping service members turn their military medical experience into meaningful civilian healthcare careers? The Military Medics and Corpsmen (MMAC) Program is looking for a dynamic, relationship-driven professional who is ready to make an impact.
In this role, you’ll work directly with military medics, corpsmen, and other military medical professionals as they navigate their transition into Virginia’s healthcare workforce. You’ll help connect their experience to career pathways, education, credentialing, licensure, employers, and other resources that can move them toward their next opportunity.
You’ll build relationships with healthcare employers, educational institutions, military installations, workforce partners, and community organizations; represent MMAC at events and meetings; and help strengthen pathways that recognize the tremendous skills military medical professionals bring to Virginia.
Ready to bring ideas, energy, and initiative to a growing program?
If you want a role where your work can help a military medical professional move from service to a new career in healthcare, we want to hear from you.
Your next mission could be helping them find theirs.

The position also supports relationships with healthcare employers, educational institutions, licensing and regulatory entities, military installations, and community partners to strengthen pathways for military medical talent. Through client support, outreach, research, presentations, data collection, and program activities, this position helps reduce barriers to civilian healthcare careers and supports Virginia’s healthcare workforce needs.
