Job summary

Phoenix Defense is seeking an Instructor/Operator to support the Army MSTC at Fort Drum, NY. The role involves delivering medical simulation training to Soldiers in EMT and CLS areas, using high-fidelity scenarios and moulage techniques.

The I/O will conduct instruction in a classroom or field setting, assess critical thinking and psychomotor skills, and maintain course readiness. This is a part-time on-call position with on-site requirements at Ft. Drum.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) with EMT or higher.
• Former 68W/18D NCO ALC graduate or equivalent background.
• Former Navy NEC 8404 or Navy IND Duty Corpsman E-6 or above, or Air Force 4NOX1/E-6 or above.
• Licensed RN/PA/Physician eligible to work as an instructor.
• Maintain BLS-HCP certification.
• Complete TC 8-800 instructor course and annual skills validation.
• US citizen and eligible for Contractor CAC.
• Strong instructional and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and test Soldiers in 68W, EMT, and CLS courses with qualified instructors.
• Prepare and manage equipment, facilities, and training aids for courses.
• Demonstrate skills and assess student performance in high-fidelity simulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and employee information.
• Work independently and as part of a training team.
