Job summary

North Wind Design seeks a Security Manager to lead and coordinate security for MILCON construction sites in a demanding federal environment. You will manage site access, construction security operations, and compliance with ICD 705 requirements while supervising CSTs and escorts.

The role requires extensive security leadership, experience with government stakeholders, and a proven track record in secure facility operations. On-site work with travel to project locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Homeland Security, Business Administration, Construction Management, Military Science, or related field.
• Equivalent combinations may substitute for formal education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations for MILCON construction sites, ensuring secure, compliant environments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site security plans and procedures.
• Coordinate access control, visitor management, and badging processes.
• Supervise security personnel and escorts; liaise with SSO/AO/CSA/SCIF authorities.
• Ensure compliance with ICD 705 and government security standards.
• Prepare security documentation, reports, and incident records.
• Conduct security inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
