ICON is seeking a Superintendent to be the on-site field leader for MILCON projects, managing day-to-day operations and trades from horizontal development through vertical and interior finish.

You will enforce safety, quality, and efficiency in line with MILCON code and safety requirements, coordinating with government inspectors and base personnel. This role requires travel to secure sites and extended assignments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience on DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, or large commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of field sequencing, site logistics, and construction means and methods.
• Familiarity with UFC / UFGS, EM 385-1-1, USACE/NAVFAC QC programs, FAR/DFARS basics, AT/FP standards.
• Familiarity working in Procore, P6, and field documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills; capable of interacting with government inspectors.
• Willingness to work at remote or secure sites with extended travel.

Responsabilités

• Direct all daily jobsite operations, including oversight of subcontractors and field staff.
• Oversee trade partners to ensure safety, sequencing, and workmanship standards.
• Implement and maintain the site logistics plan and integration with IMS.
• Conduct daily field walks to verify progress against drawings and UFC/UFGS.
• Prepare 2-week lookahead schedules and coordinate with Sr. CM for IMS.
• Coordinate with base personnel and government representatives on inspections and access.
• Enforce SSHP per EM 385-1-1; lead daily safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Enforce security compliance and verify credentials.
• Address safety deficiencies and document corrective actions.
• Support QCM with USACE/NAVFAC Three-Phase QC Process.
• Verify installed work meets UFC/UFGS and submittals.
• Maintain red-line as-builts and coordinate updates with the Project Engineer.
• Track daily progress, manpower, quantities, and logs per USACE/NAVFAC.
• Validate subcontractor progress quantities for billing and cost-to-complete updates.
• Identify field issues impacting schedule/cost/quality and escalate with solutions.
• Maintain CUI compliance for all field documentation.
• Lead pre-task planning and daily coordination meetings.
• Ensure integration of all scopes; coordinate with Project Engineer for RFIs.
• Support PrintOps with printer mobilization and wall installations.
• Ensure printed components integrate with MEP and finish systems.
• Assist with acceptance testing, mock-ups, and commissioning required by USACE/NAVFAC.
