Job summary

North Wind Design seeks a Security Manager to lead MILCON security operations on on-site projects in Huntsville, AL. You will coordinate site access control, security planning, and compliance with ICD 705 and government requirements.

You will supervise security technicians, escorts, and staff, and coordinate with the Site Security Officer, Accrediting Official, and cognizant authorities to support secure project execution and facility accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible security experience.
• 5+ years supporting Federal/DoD/IC/MILCON projects.
• Experience managing site access control and SCIF environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead project security operations for MILCON sites.
• Develop and maintain site security plans per requirements.
• Coordinate access control, visitor management, and badging.
• Supervise CSTs, escorts, and site security personnel.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements for personnel and visitors.
• Liaise with government security personnel and accreditation authorities.
• Support SCIF construction, renovation, and ICD-705 activities.
• Conduct security inspections, risk assessments, and incident response.
