Job summary

North Wind Design seeks a Configuration Control Manager to lead MILCON configuration management and change control on major federal projects. You will evaluate, document, and coordinate changes, supporting cost estimating, budgeting, and risk management throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires on-site work at MILCON locations, frequent collaboration with project managers, engineers, and government representatives, and a strong background in MILCON delivery and government contracting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in a related field.
• 8+ years in configuration management, project controls, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years supporting Federal MILCON or DoD projects.
• Experience managing configuration control processes and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration management and change control for MILCON projects.
• Coordinate cost estimating, scheduling, and project baselines.
• Facilitate configuration control board meetings and track changes.
• Review ECPs, RFIs, design revisions, and contract modifications.
• Prepare cost analyses and executive-level status reports.
