Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Migration & Modernization Tech BDM for the WWPS Migration team focused on US SLG/EDU customers.

You will drive customer and partner engagements to migrate and modernize workloads to AWS, including AI modernization, while shaping engagements via the Migration Acceleration Program and collaborating with AWS field teams to scale large cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies
• 4+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences
• 5 years of customer facing roles leading large-scale transformation programs
• 3 years of developing, implementing, managing and executing field programs

Responsibilities

• Meet with customer application owners and development teams to plan migration and modernization, incl. AI-driven pathways
• Develop migration and modernization business cases to drive commitments
• Identify compelling proposals to realize business value from migrations, incl. AI modernization
• Clarify AWS value proposition as workloads move to AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive consistent outcomes
• Develop mechanisms to automate and scale migration across SLG/EDU using AI tools
• Capture results and present progress to executive leadership
• Conduct customer briefings and participate in events
